Big Z got tired of the endless naming debates: every forum had its own labels, and "beginner-friendly" was getting slapped on tarantulas that bite. So we built our own. Spice 1 to 5 pulls from real keeper forums, published care guides, working keeper notes, and Big Z's own logs, distilled into one number beginners AND experienced keepers can actually agree on. Six lenses go in (care, temper, speed, venom, escape, and Big Z's read of the whole fella), so a timid SpecieZs can rate hotter if the setup is unforgiving, and a calmer animal can rate lower if it's slow to bolt.
