Rhopalomeris carnifex - mixed sizes
Touch it and it folds shut into a sealed armored ball, and that is the whole defense. No bite, no sting, nothing on it that pinches. It is a true millipede, not a pill bug. Pill bugs are crustaceans that happen to roll the same way. Feed the substrate, not the animal. Give it a deep bed of well decayed hardwood leaf and soft crumbly rotted wood over something that holds moisture, because that bed is also the food. Keep it damp under the surface and never dripping, leave the lid ventilated, and top the bed up before it runs out. Room temperature, no heat mat. Spice 1, Kid Friendly.
