Philippine Tangerine Tarantula (Selenobrachys philippinus)
Tarantula

Veronica Dwarf Earth Tiger Tarantula for sale from Big Z's (Ornithoctoninae sp. "Veronica"). Comes with a Spice rating and a care guide, and ships packed for the weather.
A pocket-sized earth tiger with the full-sized attitude.
Veronica is an undescribed dwarf earth tiger from Vietnam, sold under its trade name as Ornithoctoninae sp. "Veronica". Adults are reported at 3 to 4 inches of leg span, so a Burrow Buddy can be the forever home instead of a stop on the way. Small does not mean mild: it bolts, threat-poses and digs like its bigger relatives.
Spice Level 4: Advanced. Old World, fast and defensive, with venom we treat as medically significant; it is a no-handling display animal. Setup follows our Asian earth tiger protocol: a Baby Buddy packed deep with firm soil, a cork-roofed starter burrow, a damp lower layer under a dry top, cross vents and a small water dish. House alone, plan every lid opening, and have the catch cup in hand before the lid comes off. It bolts upward when disturbed, so open low over a table. The Big Z's care guide walks through the setup, feeding and molt precautions.
What you get: one captive-bred, unsexed sling at about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Trade-name ID; not assigned to a genus or species yet. Ships live on FedEx Overnight with the Live Arrival Guarantee on overnight orders.
Full care is in the care guide. It covers enclosure size, temperature, humidity, feeding, molting signs and handling limits for this species. Read the Advanced guide, or the shorter Simple guide →
