The Candy Pill Millipede has a short, rounded body with pale bands across dark plates and coral-red color around the edges, front, and rear. The darker base makes those lighter details easy to appreciate up close. Sold under Rhopalomeris carnifex, this is the Candy form, offered in mixed sizes and kept separate from the Candy Corn and Rainbow Candy selections.
Spice Level 1: Kid Safe. For these pill millipedes, we follow care used for related Rhopalomeris: decomposed hardwood leaves, soft decayed hardwood, damp shelter, and steady ventilation. The edible material needs to remain available and be replaced as it is consumed. Fresh produce is an extra, not a replacement for that base diet.
