CARE
Dragon millipedes are small tropical detritivores. Give them three to four inches of moist substrate topped with a deep layer of hardwood leaf litter and crumbling rotten wood, which is most of what they eat. Keep humidity high and do not let the substrate dry out. Room temperature suits them.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Spice Level 1: Kid Friendly. No venom, no bite, no urticating hairs.
- Millipedes do better in groups, so two of each is a real start rather than one animal alone in a box.
