About this Fella

Bumblebee Millipede for sale from Big Z's (Anadenobolus monilicornis). Spice-rated keeper notes, care guidance, and live-arrival packing where eligible.

Yellow-and-black racing stripes on a busy little composter

Anadenobolus monilicornis, the Bumblebee Millipede, wears exactly the paint job the name promises: bold yellow-and-black banding all the way down, on a small, fast-footed body that is a lot more active than your average millipede. These juveniles are small, active, and ready to grow.

It is one of the best-value starter millipedes there is: cheap, hardy, totally harmless, and happy to multiply on its own once it is settled into a humid bioactive setup. Toss in oak leaf litter and rotting wood (that is the food and the substrate), keep it damp, and watch a little colony build itself. Great for kids, classrooms, or anyone who wants the millipede experience without the giant-millipede price tag.

The numbers live in the care guide. Enclosure size, temps, humidity, feeding schedule, premolt signs, handling boundaries: it's all in the care guide for this exact fella. Start with the full Advanced guide, or click for the quick Open the Simple version →
