About this Fella

Panama Wandering Spider for sale from Big Z's (Phoneutria depilata). Spice-rated keeper notes, care guidance, and live-arrival packing where eligible.

A wandering spider. Read that twice before you order.

Phoneutria depilata, the Panama Wandering Spider, belongs to the genus whose venom is medically significant to people; it is the Central American member of the group. These are slings at 1/8 to 1/4 inch, which changes nothing about how they are treated. It is a fast, nocturnal ground and low-vegetation hunter with the threat display the genus is known for.

Spice Level 5: Extreme. Display only, no handling, ever. Double containment, tongs and a catch cup for every service, and an enclosure that cannot be opened by anyone who does not know what is inside. Check that a Phoneutria is legal to keep where you live; that is your responsibility. A bite needs professional medical care. Message us with setup questions before it ships.

The numbers live in the care guide. Enclosure size, temps, humidity, feeding schedule, premolt signs, handling boundaries: it's all in the care guide for this exact fella. Start with the full Advanced guide, or click for the quick Open the Simple version →
