A mature male huntsman from Taiwan.

Heteropoda pingtungensis is a huntsman described from Pingtung, Taiwan. This is a single mature male: full grown, fast, and, like every mature male spider, on the last stretch of his life. Buy him as a short-term display animal or for a pairing, not as a long-term pet.

Spice Level 3: Intermediate. Tall enclosure, cork to press against, a little moisture, and a sealed lid. Very fast. Hands off, catch-cup transfers only.
