A tiger-striped dwarf that fits in a deli cup for years.

Cyriocosmus elegans, the Trinidad Dwarf Tiger, is a true dwarf tarantula with a copper carapace and a heart-shaped mark on a striped abdomen. These arrived at 1/4 inch, which is a very small sling, so the first few months are about keeping the moisture steady.

Spice Level 3: Intermediate. A Baby Buddy with a couple of inches of lightly moist substrate, a starter hide and a bottle cap of water. Quick for its size and a heavy webber. Not a handling animal. Read the Big Z's care guide before it arrives.
