The huntsman that lives on walls, not in webs.

Heteropoda venatoria, the Tropical Huntsman, is the flat, long-legged, crab-walking spider found around buildings across the warm parts of the world. It builds no web; it runs prey down at night on a vertical surface. We measure them when they land and update the size here.

Spice Level 3: Intermediate. Give it height and a cork slab to press against, a little moisture in the substrate, and a lid that seals. It is extremely fast and it flattens through gaps you would not think a spider could fit. Hands off, catch-cup transfers only.
