About this Fella

Keys Bark Scorpion for sale from Big Z's (Centruroides guanensis). Spice-rated keeper notes, care guidance, and live-arrival packing where eligible.

A small bark scorpion from the Keys and the Caribbean.

Centruroides guanensis, the Keys Bark Scorpion, is a slender, small-bodied bark scorpion of the Florida Keys, Cuba and the Bahamas. Bark scorpions climb, hide under loose bark by day and hunt on it at night. We measure them when they land and update the size here.

Spice Level 3: Intermediate. A Bark Buddy with cork stood on end, a lightly moist corner, and a shallow dish. This is a buthid: the sting is painful and reactions vary, so tongs for every service and no handling. Message us with setup questions before it ships.

The numbers live in the care guide. Enclosure size, temps, humidity, feeding schedule, premolt signs, handling boundaries: it's all in the care guide for this exact fella. Start with the full Advanced guide, or click for the quick Open the Simple version →
