4 × 7-inch Heat Pad with Digital Controller

Cold room, slow animal. Most tarantulas and scorpions do fine at normal room temperature, but a chilly shelf or a winter night slows them down. This 4 x 7 inch pad sticks to the outside of the enclosure, and the inline digital controller shows the set temperature and the real temperature side by side, so you dial it in instead of guessing. Grab one before the cold sets in.

Why keepers pick this one

• Set It and See It: set temperature and measured temperature on one display, in degrees F.
• Small Footprint: 4 x 7 inches fits the side of small and mid-size enclosures.
• Low Wattage: 4 W.
• Adhesive Backing: sticks to the outside of the enclosure. Pick your spot before you peel.

Build it out

Pairs with the Repti Zoo Digital Thermo-Hygrometer inside the enclosure, so you can check the number your animal is sitting at.

Good to know

• For inverts, most keepers mount the pad on a side wall, not under the floor. Burrowers dig down to get away from heat, so a pad underneath pushes them toward it.
• Cover part of one wall so there is always a cooler side.
• For indoor use. Follow the included mounting instructions and check enclosure temperatures with a separate thermometer. Do not immerse, fold, or use on a metal tank.
