About this Fella

Georgia Black Wolf Spider for sale from Big Z's (Tigrosa georgicola). Spice-rated keeper notes, care guidance, and live-arrival packing where eligible.

A pitch-dark prowler from the Southern woods

Tigrosa georgicola is a bold native wolf spider from the southeastern US: smaller and richer-colored than the big Carolina wolves, with a deep dark body and a striking pattern that fills in as it matures. These slings are alert, quick to feed, and ready to grow up in front of you.

Wolf spiders are hunters: no web, just eight good eyes and a pounce. So this is an active, watch-it-work display animal, not a hands-on pet (they are fast, and a bee-sting-level nip is the worst case if you are careless). Easy to feed, easy to keep, and a great pick for someone who wants a genuine native predator with attitude on a small budget.

The numbers live in the care guide. Enclosure size, temps, humidity, feeding schedule, premolt signs, handling boundaries: it's all in the care guide for this exact fella. Start with the full Advanced guide, or click for the quick Open the Simple version →
