HOW WE SEX THEM
A mature male gigas has gonopods in place of the seventh pair of legs. You can see them, so sexing an adult is straightforward. We check every pair before it ships.
CARE
Both animals live together in one deep bin of hardwood leaf litter, which doubles as the whole feeding plan. Keep the substrate damp, add a water dish, and top up the litter as they eat through it. Gigas are communal, so a pair is no more work than a single animal. They live 7 to 10 years or more.
GOOD TO KNOW
