About this Fella

Thai Flat Rock Scorpion for sale from Big Z's (Scorpiops cf. kautti). Spice-rated keeper notes, care guidance, and live-arrival packing where eligible.

A flattened body and dark pincers built into a small scorpion.

The Thai Flat Rock Scorpion (Scorpiops cf. kautti) has a brown body, black pincers, and a low, flattened profile. These are offered at 1-3 inches in length. The exact species is not confirmed, so the care approach stays grounded in related forest scorpions. Start with a secure enclosure and sheltered crevices that suit the animal's small size.

Spice Level 2: Beginner. Our care approach follows related forest scorpions: stable, low cork crevices over sheltered, lightly damp substrate, with ventilation and a less-moist area available. Use lightweight, supported cover instead of loose heavy rock piles. We recommend individual housing, manageable prey, and leaving occupied retreats alone through a molt. Use a catch cup and tools rather than bare hands. The Big Z's care guide explains the enclosure layout and routine care.

The numbers live in the care guide. Enclosure size, temps, humidity, feeding schedule, premolt signs, handling boundaries: it's all in the care guide for this exact fella. Start with the full Advanced guide, or click for the quick Open the Simple version →
